Ancol Dreamland opened in 1966 and is currently the largest integrated tourism area in South East Asia, boasting an international championship golf course, a theme park, hotels and other recreational facilities. There are 27 rides at Fantasy World, 8 pools at Atlantis Water Adventure and 8 shows at Ocean Dream Samudra.

Since our inception in 1966, Ancol Dreamland Park Ancol or so-called earmarked as an integrated tourism area by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. To realize these goals, the government of Jakarta appointed PT Jaya Development as Development Executive Agency (BPP) Project Ancol conducted in stages in accordance with the national economy and increasing purchasing power.
Along with the increasing development of the company in 1992 Development Executive Agency status (BPP) Project Development Ancol changed to PT Jaya Ancol accordance with No. deed changes. 33 dated July 10, 1992 resulting in a change of ownership and shareholding percentage, which is 20% owned by PT Development Jaya and 80% owned by the Government of DKI Jakarta.
On July 2, 2004 Ancol to "go public" and change the status of a PT Jaya Ancol Development Tbk., With 72% ownership by the Government of DKI Jakarta and 18% by PT Development Jaya and 10% by the public. Step "go public" was done to further improve the performance of the company, because it will be more controlled, scalable, efficient and effective with a high level of professionalism and create a Good & Clean Governance. Performance and a positive image of this will make the company continue to grow and develop in a healthy manner in the future. Development of PT Jaya Ancol, Tbk also repositioning efforts with the launch of the new logo Ancol on July 10, 2005. The changes are not only changing the company logo, but also to boost morale and corporate culture as a whole.
